Count your blessings, name them one by one! It's that time to come together as a church as we just celebrated our anniversary so we can reflect back and look forward to a new year. It's a family gathering so don't miss this opportunity for all the different departments in our church to come together for our annual One Day Retreat at Mount Hermon Conference Center on Saturday, November 14th. We'll start registration from 9:30 a.m. with our first message at 10 a.m. This year's theme is "Life Together". We'll spend one entire day in one of the most beautiful retreat centers in the Santa Cruz mountains enjoying nature, hearing God's Word and spending time together. Lunch and dinner will be included in the retreat fee ($30 for adults, $15 for college/grad students). If you would like to still register, please contact Miok Cheung at (408) 482-5411. Hallelujah Night is coming soon! It's our annual Joyland celebration for children from ages 3 to 11 on October 31st and it's always a fun time for everyone. This year's theme is "Jesus is Our True Hero" so we'll get to see all kinds of superheroes that aren't quite as strong as THE greatest superhero of all. Travel from booth to booth and play fun games, watch entertaining skits, sing songs and have a great time. We'll meet from 4:30 to 8:30 p.m. in the fellowship hall. Please join us this Sunday, November 1st at 1:30 p.m. as we celebrate the 3rd anniversary of Bridgeway! Our guest speaker will be Pastor Loren Chong from New Covenant Church in Concord. We will also have a special lunch fellowship that day so you don't want to miss it. Daylight Savings time ends that day so don't forget to turn your clock back one hour and get an extra hour of sleep!

Pastor Chris will be taking us on a journey through Colossians for seven weeks from September 4th through October 23rd as he shares what he learned and realized through his summer course at Regent College with J.I. Packer. Come and join us on Fridays for XT Bible study and each Sunday!
